The A-B 1003 has been sold and replaced by the A-B 1999. The bus has returned from its retirement.

This car represents a city bus O305 from the late 1970s. The O305 was a so-called standard bus I, which was developed according to specifications of the Association of Public Transport (VÖV). The basic dimensions of the vehicles were standardized and spare parts could be exchanged across the board, which reduced the operating and maintenance costs of the transport companies. This car is designed as an automatic variant.

Unlike the Berlin buses, the door control differs on this bus, because here each door can be controlled separately. Fuse mechanisms such as coupling to the stop brake do not work here.

Ivory color was used by many transport companies during the 1970s and 1980s.
