In 1997, the A320 and the A330 are offered. The two vehicles share the same frame types (type 320). The difference is according to the motor position and the floor height. The A320 has the engine horizontally at the rear of the vehicle (as the A360). It can be constructed in two or three doors.

The VanHool A320 has a different appearance of the A360 by the position of the windows and the second door. In A320 there are three windows between the first and the second door, while the A360 only two. In addition, the second door is located closer to the rear axle on the A320.

Same for the A330, the difference is also distinguished by the motor position (vertical), the position of the second door is two windows and half of the first door. Maybe three windows, it is depending on the version.

The level of A320 floor is similar to the only difference A330 is the presence of a small slope after the second door. On the three doors version, there is the presence of a step to the third door.

The A320 prototype is a two doors version was built with a Mercedes engine and a ZF gearbox. He was sold to the private operator Collard-Lambert under the number 753107.
